Chris Weale

Chris Weale (born February 9, 1982 in Chard) is an English football goalkeeper currently playing for Bristol City F.C.. He had previously played for Yeovil Town.
Chris made his debut in the 2000-2001 Season and played at Huish Park for 6 seasons, until a cruciate knee ligament finished his 2005-2006 season. During this time, he bacame Yeovil's most important goalkeeper.
His contract expired at the end of that season, and Chris joined Bristol City under the Bosman ruling. He was joined by former team mates Phil Jevons, Liam Fontaine and Lee Johnson and former manager Gary Johnson.
He recovered from his injury in November 2006 and is able to challenge Adriano Basso for the goalkeeper's spot.
