David Partridge (born November 26, 1978 in Westminster) is a footballer for Football League One club Bristol City. He plays as a defender. He is a Welsh international.
He has previously played for West Ham, Dundee United and Motherwell before joining Bristol City for £150,000 at the start of the 2005/2006 season. He played a small part for City until the arrival of Gary Johnson as manager. He was then sent out on loan to Milton Keynes Dons until the end of the season.
At the start of the season he joined Leyton Orient on loan. But his spell was shortened due to Partridge being sentenced to 2 months in jail alongside teammates Bradley Orr and Steve Brooker. However he was released after 1 month after doing half of his sentence.
On January 3, 2007 Partridge joined Brentford in a one month loan deal. He became Fitzgerald's first signing at Brentford. On only his third appearance for Brentford (against Yeovil), he was sent off for headbutting. His loan contract was not extended.
Partridge joined Swindon Town on loan on 22 March 2007
