- The flag is the city seal in maroon on a white background. There is a maroon stripe along the bottom of said flag. The nickname is "Chula Juana" because of its proximity to the border, but is generally used in a derogatory fashion. -DavDaven 04:37, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- So, the flag looks something like the following? Image:Cvflag.PNG

- Has anyone heard of a baseball team, the Tijuana Toros of the Golden League coming to Chula Vista next year? The Toros didn't get the right ballpark in that side of the border. Chula Vista has a facility for a Western League team in 2001. Keep me up to date and add that announcement to the article. + 207.200.116.6 04:43, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eastlake Emancipation
Have you ever been somewhere in San Diego County and overheard or where maybe involved in a conversation when someone may ask "what city do you live in?" or "where are you from?" and people respond "Eastlake, CA" or "Eastlake" Well as we all know, Eastlake is not a city. People just want to differentiate and eloquently put it as saying they are not in Chula Vista, but indeed they are.
I live in Rancho Del Rey, my mom is in Otay Ranch, but I still represent and say Chula Vista when someone asks me where I am from. What is it with people trying to fake it like they are not part of the city?
[edit] No mention of Chulajuana?
Wow, is this entry sugar coated! There's no mention of its derisive nickname, "Chulajuana." --24.249.108.133 22:04, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
