Is it me or is it as she grows so does her voice. She sounds so much better now. she finally has an impressive vocal range. I'm so proud of Ciara and she also stopped dancing using that stink face and now looks way more feminine. She's FINE.

I feel that some of the songs on the album are to BOW WOW like so hard, my love, and others. And the words are actually not kiddish. Wateva Bow Wow did it kinda improved Ciara.

Does anyone think that Ciara should be directed to a disambiguation page for the name "Ciara"? As in, the feminine form of Ciaran? It's not like Ciara, the singer, is the only notable person with the name Ciara, and therefore I think it would be wise to form up a disambiguation page for Ciara. Think about it: Conrad on wikipedia doesn't go straight to Joseph Conrad, it goes to a page where you can see what the name Conrad means and what notable people are called Conrad. Anyone with me on this?

Can anyone give me a source who says that Ciara's next single from Goodies is "Hotline"?

Hotline isn't officially a single. In an interview, Ciara had said that if she was to release another single from Goodies it would be "Hotline". I could try to find it...

The snopes link just criss-crosses Ciara's case with other people or qoute from her. It dosen't really attack the claim.

It isn't meant to attack the claim. It shows why the case is wrong. Anyway, can someone give a source for Ciara dating Bow Wow? This is the first I've heard of it and I'm a big fan.

[edit] 'Emerald Isle' --> Duh, it's Ireland.. that reference & stub should be changed

The Wiki article refers to the intersexual 'Ciara of Emerald Isle', and links to a Wiki stub page with that title. 'Emerald Isle' was lifted from the Snopes.com article (link found at the bottom of the Ciara Harris Wiki page), where it says the intersexual was from Ireland.. and later refers to it as the 'Emerald Isle'. (emerald=green; a traditional Irish colour). The intersexual Ciara is therefore NOT, and SHOULD NOT be referred to as 'Ciara of Emerald Isle', but (possibly) 'Ciara, the intersexual'.

The Wiki Stub should be changed, as should the reference & link in the Ciara Harris article.

Uhm, no, that Ciara is not intersex, she is transgender - not only her article says so, but also her web page. As for the "Emerald Isle", I don't know who put that there, but I assumed that somewhere she refers to that "title" herself. The TRANSgendered woman's name is Ciara Byrne and she is from Irleand. Ciara Harris is twenty years her junior.

Its pronounced like (SEE-AIR-RUH) She says her name is said alll the time in her singles. Alot of times on tv they might pronouced it (SEE-ARE-RUH) which is incorrect. The pronouciation was even joked about by the officer on Ciara's episode of punk'd. Very funny stuff.

Actually, the officer pronounced her name (KY-AIR-RUH) then he asked if her friends called her "Ki-Ki". Ciara should've known it was fake then, that was a totally irrelevant question for an officer to ask. (sigh) The world of entertainment... so horrid. --Miss Ciara 20:36, 5 June 2006

Well, if that is correct, she is not pronouncing it the way the name is meant to be pronounced. It is an Irish name and is more correctly pronounced, "KEE ah ra" or, less often, "KEER a". Its meaning, more or less, is "dark" or "black". Still, it's her name. She's free to invent new pronunciations if that is her desire. --Yamla 04:33, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, Felicia is a latin name pronounced "FEL-EE-SEE-UH" but is commonly prnounced "FEL-EE-SHUH" alot of names are like that. Expecially African-Americans(not to be racist) will take a name and twist it to make it sound to their desire or keep the spelling and change the pronounciation. I've removed the entire section (other than the image) as, IMO, it just isn't suitable for inclusion in an encyclopedia. The content is not significant and the style is straight from a gossip magazine. Encyclopedia articles and content are written differently. I'm not going to get into an edit war over this, but before restoring this section, please consider; will it make the article and/or the encyclopedia better? From here (as cited in the article), "I'm calling the album, 'Goodies X 10'. It's kind of like 'Goodies' to the tenth power." Is this a misquote? Did Ciara mean for this to be rendered as 'Goodies¹⁰' (and presumably the National Ledger just couldn't figure out how to typeset this), or is Ciara unable to do simple elementary school math? I deleted that article because it was inimpotant, and fairly old. Besides, the article said that Ciara didn't deny the rumors, but I heard this from her mouth in an interview with Barbara Beam.

Barbara: Alright, gossip time, rumor time. There's an alleged interview that you were on Oprah's shows stating that you were born with boy parts. True or false, Ciara!
