City Channel

City Channel is an Irish media company, who operate one cable television channel, City Channel (Dublin), and are intending to launch variants in Galway and Waterford in March 2006; in May they will be dedicated to the city they serve. In October 2005, they announced their intention to licence their channel format across Europe.
Their current channel will, with its planned sister channels, operate something similar to the original intent of the ITV network, with core programming a mix of home-produced shows and imported programming, and city-specific news and current events coverage.
