Colin Walker is an English cellist.
He was a cellist for the Electric Light Orchestra from 1972-73. He left the group eventually to get married and settle down. His contributions can be heard on the ELO II album and hit singles Roll Over Beethoven (ELO's first US hit single) and was involved early in the production of the bands third LP On the Third Day playing on the hit singles Showdown and Ma-Ma-Ma Belle. Walker was replaced in late 1973 by the return of Hugh McDowell. He later played cello on the album "Caravan and the New Symphonia" by English Rock/Jazz band Caravan in 1974.
He is now a cellist with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
