Colleyville is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 19,636 at the 2000 census.

Colleyville is located at GR1.
(32.885062, -97.149233)According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 33.9 km² (13.1 mi²). 33.9 km² (13.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.08% is water.

The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) serves most of Colleyville. GCISD has two high schools - Colleyville Heritage, the school that some Colleyville students attend due to district dividing lines, is one of the highest ranked in the country. The school is widely known for the publicity of their 2004 steroids scandal. The school recovered well and is still a high-caliber establishment.[citation needed] The other school is Grapevine High School, which has been achieving recognition for 100 years in 2007.
A small number attend Keller High School as well. The northwestern-most part of Colleyville lies inside the Keller Independent School District. KISD has one campus, Liberty Elementary, within the city of Collyville.
Portions of Colleyville also lay with-in the jurisdictions of Birdville Independent School District, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District, and Carroll Independent School District.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 19,636 people, 6,406 households, and 5,823 families residing in the city. The population density was 579.2/km² (1,499.6/mi²). There were 6,549 housing units at an average density of 193.2/km² (500.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 93.14% White, 1.31% African American, 0.39% Native American, 3.15% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.59% from other races, and 1.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.23% of the population. There were 6,406 households out of which 49.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 85.4% were married couples living together, 4.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 9.1% were non-families. 7.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.06 and the average family size was 3.24.
In the city the population was spread out with 31.6% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 32.2% from 45 to 64, and 5.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.7 males.
The median income for a household in the city is $117,419, and the median income for a family was $121,499. Males had a median income of $90,834 versus $42,455 for females. The per capita income for the city was $50,418. About 1.2% of families and 1.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 1.5% of those under age 18 and 1.7% of those age 65 or over.
