The Compiz community had a contest for a new logo. It needs to be put on the Compiz Wikipedia page, doesn't it? [edit] Vista imitation screenshot
I think it's bad taste to show compiz imitating (or, less charitably, "ripping off") someone else's graphic design. Especially since the imitation itself is poor: Vista glass windows actually blur what's under them using pixel shaders, rather than just simple transparency as shown here. And text in Vista glass window borders has a blurred white halo to make it slightly more readable against complex backgrounds, which this imitation doesn't seem to have. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 149.99.33.106 (talk • contribs) 18:48, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Big cleanup required
Second-person, too many lists, unclear focus, reads like a guidebook. Not sure how much of this is valuable. Regardles, the suggested merge is in the wrong direction (compiz is still the parent project) and there's been no recent merge discussion, so I'm untagging this.
