Contemporary Learning Center
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Contemporary Learning Center (CLC) is a secondary school located in Houston, Texas.
CLC, which serves grades 7 through 12, is a part of the Houston Independent School District.
CLC is located south of Midtown, west of the Third Ward, and north of the Houston Museum District. CLC does not automatically take in students in surrounding neighborhoods; residents near CLC are zoned to Ryan Middle School and Lamar High School.
CLC serves students who do not succeed in traditional school environments and need more academic motivation and better attendance records [1].
CLC includes Houston Night High School, Houston ISD's evening high school program.
