Coxwell is a station on the Bloor-Danforth line of the subway system in Toronto, Canada. It is located at 1568 Danforth Avenue at Coxwell Avenue. It was opened in 1966. Nearby landmarks include Monarch Park, Toronto East General Hospital and the East York Civic Centre.
This station is used as a switchover point for eastbound subways operators who are coming off or coming on their shift. There are sometimes slight delays at this station as subway operators are changed.
In terms of accessibility, there are two flights of escalators leading directly from track level to the surface. As of 2006, there is no elevator from the track to the surface, so it is not a wheelchair-accessible station.
