Faith No More byla velice vlivná experimental alternativ rockova skupina, která byla založena v roce 1982 v San Franciscu a rozpadla se v roce 1998. Během jejich 16.leté kariéry se ¨několikrát měnili zpěváci této skupiny. Nejvýznamnější a nejdéle hrající zpěvák kapely ovšem byl Mike Patton
Jejich hudba kombinuje prvky z heavy metal, funk, progressive, soul, hip hop, a jazz, a dalších hudebních stylů.

V říjnu 2004 Midlife Crisis byla použita v populární hře Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, jako jedna z písniček na imaginarním Rádiu X. Hudební video z „Last Cup of Sorrow“ je založeno na filmu Alfred Hitchcock Vertigo. Song "Midlife Crisis" se oběvil v populárni videohře "Tony Hawk's Underground 2". The song From Out Of Nowhere použita v EA Sports simulaci amerického fotbalu Madden NFL 2005.
