[edit] Dolphin in swimming pool by SCHS students?
I went to SCHS and I'v heard the story. I also heard that they hung a dead dolphin from the flag pole. I'v not, however, ever seen any official sources (newspapers, even teachers) comment on either story. This would have been more than worthy of a newspaper article, so we need a citation if it is a fact, which seems doubtful to me. (Where exactly did they get the dead dolphin, why wasn't there a large investigation, outrage from animal rights people, etc?) Serialized
Actually the people who did that still live in this area. In fact one of them is my friends dad, so I suggest that you investigate a little deeper. Oh and back at the time it was done animal rights wasn't as big as it was now and pranks weren't really a big deal. People got that it was a joke.
The rivalry with San Clemente, while is somewhat prevalent, is however, uncorroborated. Also, where is the evidence that Laguna Beach producers were going to select Dana Hills as a first choice? Perhaps if whomever it was that wrote these pieces could come up with some reputable evidence, then they could stay. Otherwise, poorly-written, unsupported ramblings of that nature do not belong on this website.
