[edit] Revert?
Hi, why'd you revert Template:Infobox Australian City? Was there something wrong with it? --CBDunkerson 17:53, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I had a quick look but I couldn't see what was going on. Just after you made the changes the template started messing with pages I viewed. {{mayor}} appeared outside of the infobox (to the left of the page) and there was a gap in the infobox between Area and Time Zone on the Sydney page. I'm using firefox/linux in case the problem was browser specific. --darkliight[πalk] 05:17, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I missed a couple of '|' characters there. I redid the changes with that corrected. Please let me know if there are any other problems. Conversion is being made because the 'hiddenStructure' method used previously doesn't work properly for all browsers. The new '#if:' method is built into Wikipedia and evaluates to the same results (when it is set up correctly) before anything is sent to the browser. --CBDunkerson 14:04, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. One more slight glitch now, the Mayor and Area fields are messing up. The values are going in the left cells with the Mayor and Area titles. See Wollongong, New South Wales to see what I mean. Thanks again --darkliight[πalk] 16:14, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, that should be fixed now also. --CBDunkerson 16:24, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Barnstar
- Thankyou! Working on articles here has slowed down a bit but I should be able to pick it back up over the holidays. --darkliight[πalk] 11:02, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Central Coast
I got a lot of this stuff from your Kanwal page for Bateau Bay. I am going to start The Entrance now. There is a lot more info for it though...especially the History. I also started a category for the Central Coast: (category:New South Wales Central Coast) if you wanted to put artiles there. Todd661 02:19, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, I understand about the English references topics. Unfortunately, information on the topic in English is EXTREMELY scarce, so I could only suggest that readers that are wanting to read the articles consult BabelFish at this address. Thanks again, for the help. NOVO-REI 02:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 35 mm film FAC
Hi! Just wanted to say thanks again for your comments on the FAC and let you know that I have responded to your suggestions. If you wouldn't mind giving another look, I'd be particularly grateful. Many more thanks, Girolamo Savonarola 22:06, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you again! I've responded to your further comments, and hope to have satisfied most of the remaining issues. I would like to also ask, if it's not too much, if you wouldn't mind striking out any points you've made which have been addressed to your satisfaction. I find that it makes the discussion clearer and more obviously indicates to fellow editors that the suggestions have been carried out. Many more thanks, Girolamo Savonarola 22:38, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for reviewing Enzyme
Hi there. Thanks for having a look at this article. I'm trying to reach consensus on the FA nomination talk page, did you have any other thoughts or have you already come to a decision? TimVickers 15:23, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- I bit the bullet and worked out how to produce SVG images in illustrator. Much better resolution, thank you. TimVickers 18:22, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi there, I wondered if you were happy with the changes in response to your comments. I'm trying to reach consensus on the nomination talk page, so your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! TimVickers 05:39, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Could you take a look at the Star article FAC and see if your concerns have been addressed? Does the article now deserve support? Thank you. — RJH (talk) 16:48, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] your revert
Your revert left three references (Jourdain, Eves, Peterson) in the footnotes and in the references section. Cf: 0.999#Notes and this talk. --Jtir 13:14, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed them for you.[1] --Jtir 16:58, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The mathematics article already uses styles in six places
The mathematics article already uses styles in six places:

which looks like:
-
WP:MOS#Images, which is a guideline, reads: "The current image markup language is more or less this: ..." More or less is hardly a command. Did you look at the changes? --Jtir 16:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the copy-editing in my userpage
Thanks! My teacher of English keeps telling my that your wording is the correct one! But around here you see so many different versions!--Yannismarou 17:18, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Evolution controversy
I have a hard time understaning why another article needs to be written apart from creation-evolution controversy. I agree that the latter article needs work, but I don't think the solution is to create a separate article. Part of the issue is, I think, that there is very little controversy that I know of outside of the creationism/evolution controversy. Who else disputes evolution and are they notable enough to devote an entire "generalized" article to? I'm afraid any "evolution controversy" article will end up as a mirror of the creation-evolution controversy article because, frankly, the vast majority of the people who actively and verifiably dispute evolution are creationists. Perhaps you can clarify your rationale. --ScienceApologist 03:55, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I content-forked "misunderstandings about evolution" to its own article. That has article potential, I believe. Does this satisfy? --ScienceApologist 14:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- Misunderstandings are encyclopedic if they are notable and verifiable. I think that this particular subject lends itself well to fulfilling both of these concerns. Cheers, --ScienceApologist 14:54, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
