[edit] Nubio - feature request
I was talking to cesarb on IRC and he asked if Nubio has a "the whole FAQ in a single page" mode, which would be very handy for browsing, searching etc. Just and idea. And nice work on the Mayflower search! --Commander Keane 02:43, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Why did you delete the YGO Abridged article?
It "didn't assert its significance"? Hah. With each video getting 100,000+ views and becoming an Internet phenomenon, I don't think it really has to. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 165.166.128.126 (talk • contribs) 07:41, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I really don't have any idea what you're talking about--I haven't deleted any articles in a long while. Anyway, all articles must assert the significance of their subjects, regardless of whether they're the most well-known thing in the world or not. Articles that don't are subject to speedy deletion. Cheers, Tangotango (talk) 04:02, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, you deleted it in November. It really wasn't that long ago. Anyway, don't you admins ever consider the fact that such ridiculous uptightness adds only a slight amount of credibility, but makes the idea of an encyclopedia anyone can contribute to much less appealing? You're ruining the basic essence of the site.
[edit] Mail Order Bride Edits
Excuse me but I did not delete material, others deleted my factual information for no reason. The article is severely biased and full of distortions and lies. My amendment was written to create an objective viewpoint and was deleted; why is this allowed? Look at what I wrote and tell me why it was deleted; then you write to the people who deleted it and give them a warning —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Michaellovesnyc (talk • contribs) 18:32, 21 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Why did you delete "Food Desert"?
A Food Desert is not Patent Nonsense!
The term was cited in a Chicago Tribune article today on the closing of supermarket chains: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-070222dominicks,0,7546964.story
and background information on the term can be found here: http://www.fooddeserts.org/images/whatisfd.htm SR 17:26, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nubio
Hey Tangotango. I'm wondering if it will be possible to get a installation of Nubio on the toolserver, so we over on wikinews can adapt it, for new uses, or general help, etc. Let me know if that might, or might no be possible, cheers :) Brian | (Talk) 05:57, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Viriditas is being very immature
Hello Tangotango,
I doubt you are in the know, but after some edits I made on the page Children of Men, the users Viriditas and Arcayne started a feud over what I had edited, up to the point at which Viriditas accused me of being a meat-puppet of Arcayne (I have never met either user). Viriditas is acting very immaturely. I would like to disprove Viriditas's allegations, if possible. Could this be proved by sourcing IP addresses?
Thank-You for understanding,

Is it possible to have its source so I can port it to it.wiki? Thanks and happy editing, Snowolf (talk) CON COI - 16:30, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Whatredirectshere
hallo tangotango. newly, the templates for lowercase-beginning word (like en:Template:lowercase) will show correct title, if JavaScript is enabled, same with de:Vorlage:korrekter Titel - thus, my mozilla-plugin won't work correct, as I take the correct shown title by highlighting: maybe You could redo that in Your script: make the input not case-sensitive - always those extras.. ;) but its not really important.. greetings -- W!B: 01:08, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] From the UK?
I was watching a police video chase on TV and they said "Tango Tango", is this how you chose your name? BuickCenturyDriver (Honk, contribs, odometer) 20:31, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
