Can someone explain the link between this and the article with an authoritative source, please? BlueValour 04:13, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please Bear In Mind
I have been following this page over quite some time and it clearly going from bad to worse. It reads like a poor quality advertisement pamphlet; an ineffective one at that. It is a shame that the article is still 'Stub' class, although there are so many dipsites on the net and on wikipedia.
Please understand that this is not an article where you copy-paste material from specific DPS branch brochures. Please understand that wikipedia has a policy against 'POV' (Point of View) material. Have a look at articles related to Harvard or MIT and see that they are not filled with self-congratulating material or pompous proclamations about being the 'best of the best'.
It certainly feels good, as a dipsite, to view a page that proudly states "Dipsites Rock" but it is NOT a view that an informative, unbiased, encyclopedic article is supposed to put forth. Kindly refrain from trying to place your branch over the others or giving direct links to pages that have little relevance or mentioning how great so-an-so teacher or principal is. Some more suggestions for the article :
1. Change the picture to the 'Service before Self' motto with the torch instead of the 'Dipsites Rock' picture.
2. Have only brief description of the branches on this page. If certain schools like RKP, VK, Mathura Road or even Pinjore for that matter have more material, make a separate article for those and link the pages to the descriptions on the main article page.
3. Change the name of the article from "Delhi Public School Society" to "Delhi Public Schools"
4. List the different branches in the form of a table at the end of the article, instead of as a list with which the article starts.
5. Remove POV material and keep the descriptions as 'descriptive' as possible :)
