Des Lyttle (born September 24, 1971 in Wolverhampton, England) is a professional footballer currently playing for Conference North side Worcester City where he plays as a defender.
Lyttle started his professional football career with Leicester City back in 1990. He was only with the club for one season before joining Worcester City.
During his time at Worcester City, Lyttle was spotted by Swansea City where he joined July 1992 for a fee of £12,500.
Lyttle spent a full season with The Swans before being snapped up by one of the big teams, Nottingham Forest. He joined the club in July 1993 for £375,000.
During his time with Forest, Lyttle was sent out on loan to Port Vale in 1998 for one month, before joining Watford in 1999.
Lyttle was only at Watford for just under a year before moving on to West Bromwich Albion where he had spent time on loan at while with The Hornets. Lyttle had a relatively good spell with West Bromwich Albion, as he made 67 appearances for the club and 1 goal as well.
November 2003 seen Lyttle out of favour with The Baggies, and he joined Northampton Town. Lyttle didn't seem to stick around with Northampton Town, it wasn't long before he moved on again to Forest Green Rovers in September 2004.
Lyttle then went back to his roots by joining Conference North side Worcester City in his second spell for the club.
