[edit] Erm... Thank you?
Right... Well, I'm glad someone's welcomed me, I suppose, and... I'll continue editing/creating articles on various topics I happen to know something about.

Sorry, couldn't resist. ;) Yar Kramer 16:37, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
- What's funny is that that's where I got the name >,,< I'm such a Hitchhiker's Guide nerd. Digital Watches 01:13, 11 May 2005 (UTC)
- Heh. I figured it might be a possibility. Rock on! ;) Yar Kramer 04:33, 11 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Justice
I'm starting to write an entry on Justice. Get ready to write a "gameplay" section! (I'm just a story man!) ;) Anyway, should I refer to Justice as a "he" (i.e. what everything American uses) or a "she" (since Justice is Dizzy's "mother")? Yar Kramer 05:19, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
- Don't post false information just because Americans didn't get the drama CD. Justice is 100% confirmed as female. And I'd be perfectly glad to write the gameplay article for you. Just tell me when Justice's article is up. Digital Watches 16:41, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hmm, yeah. It just feels kinda weird, is all. (And I have it on reasonable authority that Justice is referred to in a gender-neutral manner in the Japanese version.) Yar Kramer 16:54, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
- Don't worry. It's fairly obvious by now that Justice is a female. The anatomy, the fact that they use a voice actress consistently. And canonically being a mother makes it pretty damn hard to be male.
- Heh, yeah. Okay, I've got it up! Time to put up the picture, and insert the Gameplay bit right before the Story bit! Go for it! ;) Yar Kramer 17:26, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hmm ...
Thinking of who to add next. Probably Millia or Slayer ... maybe even That Man, if I'm feeling particularly ambitious. What do you feel like doing? Didn't you mention the possibility of doing Baiken somewhere? Yar Kramer 01:19, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
- I've had a bit of a lack of free time lately. I might be doing a few. I'll still take care of the gameplay and pictures for you. Erm... I could do Testament and Baiken if you wanted me to.
- Uh, we already have Testament. But that's okay. Yar Kramer 20:24, 29 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Baldhead.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Baldhead.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to indicate why we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you want the image to be deleted, tag it as {{db-unksource}}.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Boti-manji3.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Boti-manji3.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. [edit] Quitting fighting games
- No, I'm afraid this is a pretty permanent thing. I'm not precluding playing fighting games for personal enjoyment, but the competitive scene tends to make me ill. And I've been in that scene for a good six years. Thanks for the good thoughts though :) Danny Lilithborne 07:11, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Bridget.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Bridget.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

- Thank you for your concern. Please note that I have added the tag for character artwork, as this image is official artwork from the game in question itself. Digital Watches 15:02, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] omicron persei 8
- hello, I see your point that my addition could be considered speculative, but, i believe, not more so than the "opiate" comment. It is an established fact that david x cohen is a fan of Star Trek so it stands to reason that it is at least possible that Data's "birth" planet somehow inspired the name of Lrrr and Ndnd's homeworld. I was wondering if you could suggest a wording you would find agreeable? thanks Naufana 22:49, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, actually, I didn't see the "Opiate" comment before, and that should be deleted as well. Heh. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. If you could give me an official source that implies either (Maybe a DVD commentary, as I haven't heard many of those, and less obvious references tend to be pointed out there.) then it would work in the article, but as it is, it remains speculation/original research. Sorry. -- Digital Watches! 22:53, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia
I've noticed you've been adding the too much trivia tag on articles with small trivia sections. Why? Trivia isn't against Wikipedia policies. Large trivia sections aren't needed on Wikipedia, but small ones aren't usually doing any harm. Also, I've created a project that you might want to join: User:RobJ1981/TriviaCleanUp. RobJ1981 19:18, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've mainly been adding the tag to trivia sections that are either very large or have trivia that I think could be integrated or deleted, but don't posess the time, or in some cases expertise on the subject matter to do it myself. Also, I may be taking a bit of an overly anti-trivia interpretation of WP:AVTRIV. And I'll definitely check out that project. -- Digital Watches! 20:28, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of no source tag
Regarding this edit: Please do not remove {{no source}} tags unless you can state where the image came from. If it came from a web site, mention the address of the exact page which displays the image, not just the website's home page address. Thanks. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 00:58, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ah. Sorry. I wasn't aware of exactly how the procedure went. I think it was on the back of one of the TPBs, but I'm not sure, but I'll check before I change the tag again. In the meantime, can we postpone deletion so that I have a chance to check? -- Digital Watches! 04:27, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

- If and when you find the source of this image, it can be restored even after it has been deleted. Just drop me a note on my talk page. Regards, Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 10:10, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, cool. Just as long as it's not permanent. Sorry about the trouble. I'll contact you when I find it. -- Digital Watches! 16:59, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of trivia
Hi, I am puzzled as to why to removed a trivia point (the most important one, and the shortest, on the list, to be sure) from the article Yachiru Kusajishi. I can appreciate your anti-trivia stance, but please don't remove trivia without explaining yourself in the edit summary or on the talk page, and please don't tag removals (which are not reverts) as minor edits, as they are definitely non-minor. If there was a reason for your deletion that I missed, please let me know. Thanks, Ynhockey (Talk) 19:00, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Aha. Sorry about that. I've been lazy recently, both on the not leaving edit summaries and the tagging everything as minor edits. I do think that that particular piece of trivia (as well as most trivia in articles) should be removed, and I will discuss why in the edit summary this time. -- Digital Watches! 00:35, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hena
regarding this edit: go to the Fishing Pond, into Hena's building. use the C button to look at the photo of the OoT fisherman. Hena will say how she might be related to him. as far as a source goes, does there really need to be one if it's stated as text in the game? Scepia 23:59, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Does it explicitly state that it's the same character? If not, I stand by my earlier assertion that it's original research. --Digital Watches! 23:51, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ganon mediation request
I'm a total, total noob when CVGs are concerned. So I'm afraid I can't be of much help. :-( Perhaps, try dropping a note at the CVG WikiProject's talk page.
I did mark the "alternative" version of Ganon Image:Ganon2.jpg as orphaned, but only because it really isn't being used in the article at the moment. Kimchi.sg 03:18, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Alright. Thanks anyway, and also for the recommendation. -- Digital Watches! 06:00, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:RockHowardMOTW.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:RockHowardMOTW.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Ganon
Can you please take a look at the Ganon page? It's degenerated terribly.~ZytheTalk to me! 00:55, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Egad! You're right. I've started working on it, but basically what we need is to remove any and all redundant information. Anything covered in articles for a specific game can be taken out. Anything covered in a different section of the article can be taken out. ESPECIALLY flowery prose that adds nothing and pseudo-psychoanalysis or original research concerning timelines needs to be removed. Unfortunately, I don't currently have an abundance of free time. -- Digital Watches! 01:58, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's actually really sad that the article's own fans are its worst enemies.~ZytheTalk to me! 13:17, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
