Disney Channel's Hauntober Fest 2006 was a nightly marathon of scary, Halloween-related movies, first debuting on the Disney Channel on October 1, 2006 on Disney Channel.

Disney Channel's Hauntober Fest is aired every October, generally introducing a new original movie. The movie introduced to Disney this year is Return to Halloweentown. October is usually the only time that Halloween-related episodes of Disney Channel shows are aired.

Disney Channel's parent company, the ABC Family network also runs a Halloween-related marathon,13 Nights of Halloween from October 19 to 31st. Thirteen Nights of Halloween was originally introduced by Fox's Family Channel until Disney bought the network.

The Hauntober Fest Marathon premieres on October 14, with new episodes from Hannah Montana, The Replacements, The Emperor's New School, and Naturally, Sadie. Monsters Inc. will show before the marathon and Hocus Pocus will show after. The marathon was hosted by Sara Paxton and Lucas Grabeel, stars of Return to Halloweentown, which premiered a week later.

New episodes of The Emperor's New School, The Replacements, Naturally Sadie, and Hannah Montana will air new Halloween episodes.
This year there is a new installment to the Halloweentown Series, Return to Halloweentown, premiering on the 20th, see movie schedule for times.

Twitches 2 is an unconfirmed DCOM that may premiere in 2007. It would be the sequel to the successful Twitches that premiered during the 2005 HauntoberFest.
Halloweentown 5 is also an unconfirmed DCOM that also may premiere in 2007. It will be the fifth installment in the Halloweentown DCOM series. This DCOM has also been rumored to premiere in 2008.
Hocus Pocus 2 is a rumored DCOM that may or may not be made. Disney Channel has considered this due to the high ratings gained from the showings of the first movie, which was theatrically released in 1993 and is not a DCOM.

None of the above movies have been confirmed but it is confirmed that there will be a holiday themed DCOM released as always.

Cory in the House, the first spin-off of a Disney Channel Original Series, set to premiere in January of 2007, will have a Halloween themed episode in Disney Channel's Hauntober Fest 2007.
