East Timor is subdivided into thirteen administrative districts:
- Lautém
- Baucau
- Viqueque
- Manatuto
- Dili
- Aileu
- Manufahi
- Liquiçá
- Ermera
- Ainaro
- Bobonaro
- Cova-Lima
- Oecussi-Ambeno
The borders of Cova-Lima and Ainaro and the borders of Baucau and Viqueque were changed in 2003.
