DJ Paul Elstak (real name: Paul Roger Elstak; born The Hague 14 January 1966) is a Dutch hardcore and happy hardcore DJ and record producer. He acquired rural acquaintance through its happy hardcore from 1995 and 1996.

[edit] The beginning
At a young age had Paul a large love for a music. His grandfather Nedley Elstak was a jazz musician on the ESP-Disk label and Paul's father played in a Rock and Roll coverband. In 1987, his career was launched when he was accepted as a DJ in the popular Rotterdam record collection Blue Sign. Here, he worked with House music pioneer Godfather.
