I've never noticed that, but now that it is mentioned I have to agree, he does look like Putin. Ha ha ha!

I reverted away the section about "Dobby in Australia" but it has been put back in. Can anyone verify the information there, or is it something which should be eliminated? Sjakkalle (Check!) 07:26, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

I definitely have never heard of this 'dobby' section, and the second paragraph particularly I believe is offensive and should be deleted. Daydream believer2 07:35, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

I suspect it was simple vandalism, meant as a personal attack. If this is really a word used, let's have a source and perhaps it can somehow go into the article. If I see it go back in again as a personal attack, I'll certainly revert it on sight. If I see it go back without a personal attack, I imagine we should copy the text here and ask for verification. Dobby's birthday is on 28t June. The reference given (an article from MuggleNet) is from the 27 June, but that's only because MuggleNet is in the US: when JKR's website was updated to list Dobby's birthday, it was midnight on the 28 in the UK, but still the evening of the 27 in the US.
