Dongdaegu Station is a train and subway station in eastern Daegu, South Korea. It stands at the junction of the Gyeongbu Line, which runs from Seoul to Busan, and the Daegu Line, a short spur line which connects to the Jungang Line. All classes of trains running on the Korean National Railroad stop at Dongdaegu, including high-speed trains on the KTX line. Dongdaegu has thus become the chief station for Daegu, surpassing Daegu Station.
Dongdaegu Station was originally constructed in 1962. It was most recently rebuilt in 2004.
The train and subway stations are not connected directly; the subway station lies in a park close by the train station. The subway station lies on Daegu Subway Line 1.
