Blackout ist das 2003 vierte Studioalbum der Dropkick Murphys. Es wurde mit einer DVD veröffentlicht, welche Live-Aufnahmen zu "Rocky Road to Dublin" und "Boys on the Dock", eine Musik-Video zu "Gonna Be a Blackout Tonight" und einen Trailer zu der folgenden DVD "On The Road With The Dropkick Murphys" enthält.
das Album wurde ebenfalls auf 10" Schallplatte veröffentlicht. Diese enthält fünf Songs der CD-Fassung und eine Cover-Version von AC/DCs "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)".
