Christ Illusion ist das neunte Studioalbum der Thrash-Metal-Band Slayer und das erste in der Originalbesetzung seit 1990. Es erschien am 4. August 2006 bei American Recordings und wurde von Josh Abraham produziert. Es wurde auch ein elfter Song namens "Final Six" geschrieben. Dieser schaffte es allerdings nicht auf das Album, weil es der Band nicht mehr gelang, den Song ganz einzuspielen. Deshalb wird er wohl auf einer späteren "Special Edition"-Version der CD erscheinen. Das Album ist bis auf Platz 2 in den deutschen Album-Charts gestiegen, fiel aber in der zweiten Woche auf Platz 24. Das Cover wurde von Larry Carrol entworfen, der auch schon die Cover zu Reign in Blood, South of Heaven und Seasons in the Abyss gestaltete. Für den Song "Eyes Of The Insane" erhielt Slayer 2007 den Grammy-Award für die beste Metal-Darbietung.
