Prior to the release of Avenged Sevenfold's debut album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, in 2001, A7X made two demo recordings. These recordings are rare, and occasionally will be found for download on Avenged Sevenfold fan sites.

The 1999 demo included three tracks. All three were later rerecorded, and featured on their debut LP.

[edit] 2000 Demo
A year later, in 2000, Avenged Sevenfold put out a second demo. This demo included the original recordings, along with two additional songs. Again, all 5 songs would later be featured on their debut LP.
