el Jefe:WARNING - Most of this user page is a load of rubbish assembled to stop me getting bored. It is thus cognate to apply the popular, upbeat phrase "Abandon all hope all ye who enter here". My disclaimer: I'm here to enjoy and educate myself and hopefully allow others to learn and enjoy themselves. I will never do anything which deliberately goes against this pledge, and anything which appears to do so should be considered an error of judgement. In short, I don't want to piss anyone off via this most extraordinary of projects.

If I didn't object unreservedly to userboxes, I'd have one just over there to the right saying: This user dislikes infoboxes, prefering to interact with others without patronising them. He achieves this by using REAL SENTENCES - such as "Hello". That would be funny, but hypocritical. My opposition is only in that I have a preference of prose over annoying, insincere little slogans, so don't feel I hate you if you have a large collection of userboxes. By the way, the colourful quote boxes there are a totally different thing altogether (Hmmm...).
El jefe is a wikipedian who prefers to remain somewhat anonymous within the community. This doesn't mean I will not contribute to bigger projects or collaborate, simply that I am more someone who prefers to research and edit here and there with little regularity. I believe strongly that wikipedia should not be force people to subject themselves to this folly of loyalty which we call membership. Essentially, I'm pretty Laissez faire and a bit of an e-loner. But I will vote on the Featured Pictures, just because I like them.

That said, feel free to ask me for help, comment on my work, tell me off, praise me or suggest something I might enjoy working on. Just don't ask me to join a wikiproject! (Not because I don't believe in them - they do some valuable work, just because it goes against my anarchist tendencies).

A little about me.
- Formerly edited under a different name, left, then returned.

- A Londoner.
- Owns a dusty, under-used pair of roller skates.
- I'd rather not get involved in wikipedian politics. Unfortunately, that statement means I just have.
- El Jefe invented the concept of Wikipocrisy, otherwise known as Twitdom. He then failed to realise that Wikipocrisy was a concept known only unto him, and that he might wish to tell everyone else what it is. Then he just opened a Grolsch and put on Heavier Things.
- Sometimes refers to himself in the 3rd person. Occasionally in the 2nd person plural.

- I don't keep a watchlist. At least not deliberately -- some pages have probably slipped under my watch because I failed to un-check the box when I edited it.
- Also, I try to just ad-lib my editing pattern. If I schedule tasks I have less fun. If I have less fun, I do poorer quality work.
- My favourite colours are khaki, sky blue and Robert Kilroy-Silk.
- Always looks to defend an underdog or scapegoat.
