EMP 44

The EMP 44 was a firearm produced, quite confusingly, in 1931. It passed all of the German ordinance tests in 1943, but because of its outlandish, and cheap appeareance, it was not adopted by the German armed forces.

The EMP fires from open bolt. A safety was usally installed in the gun. It's caliber was a 9x19mm Luger / Parabellum. The weight with no clip was about 4,1 kg. The length was precisley 892-950 mm. The barrel lenth was ethier 250 or 308 mm long. It shot 300 rounds per minute. The clip usally held up to 32 rounds. The range was about 188 meters.

It was officialy given to German SS troops. It was also given to German police to get any Jews in Germany.
