Talk:English Riviera

[edit] Question about the origin of the term
I was under the impression that the Great Western Railway coined the term for use on their posters advertising holidays in the west, yet there isn't any mention of this in the article. Is this correct, or am I mistaken? Is the "English Riviera" the same as the "Cornish Riviera", as I note there was a 1904 train called the Cornish Riviera Express. - The English Riviera is definitely Torbay. I lived there for years and it was often called that. Totnesmartin 23:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
