Bishop Jenkins was nominated to serve as the next Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States, the election will be held in 2006 at the General Convention.
Bishop Jenkins was not one of the four nominated to be Presiding Bishop, and in addition the Diocesan website affirms this, as well as his approval of not being nominated. Thus, I removed the info. CJJDay 18:00, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
