Etowah High School is located in Cherokee County near Woodstock, GA. In 2006, it was rated 6th in the United States for it's technology (2004)[citation needed]. It offers many courses in the core academics, as well as a broad range of electives. In addition, numerous Honors and AP courses are offered. Etowah was ranked 1st in Cherokee County SAT scores for 2006[1].
The high school has a diverse range of clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Etowah High School is one of 5 high schools in the Cherokee County School District, along with Cherokee, Sequoyah, Woodstock, and Creekview high schools.
