Thanks for your input at Peer Review. List of Pennsylvania state parks is now a featured list candidate here: Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Pennsylvania state parks. All input is greatly appreciated, Dincher, VerruckteDan, and Ruhrfisch 01:09, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userbox
Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I forgot. I think it'd be nice as a template but IIRC there was a decision that those must be in userspace now so if you'd create it in yours that'd be nice. Which category were you thinking of? Category:Copy to Wikimedia Commons maybe. Yonatan (contribs/talk) 14:46, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting/Translations mediation
Hi Bruce, have you had time to look at the long discussion in "Discussion 4" of the mediation? I have been searching for a compromise that was between your position and that of Jergen and one that might be more convincing to people outside the Scouting Project who might want to change titles without knowing what we have done. In this regard, the Honduras article is a good case and you might also give your thoughts on what should be done with the title of that article. I look forward to reading your views. --Bduke 23:42, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rohm and Haas
I did much of the work on the article. Does my opinion count for nothing? On what do you base your pronouncement about where the references should go? What makes "this case" different from what WP:LAYOUT suggests? I find that other editors generally do not complain if I fix something or add something useful to an article, but do not expect a warm reception if I arbitrarily change from one acceptable style to another, just to make an article different from what a previous editor has done. - For opposing the Oreland #1 merger. It was proposed about 20 years ago as well and that didn't fly either. Jmpenzone 20:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Saints
Hey Evrik! How is everything? Sorry I couldn't get involved in those disputes you asked me about--I just didn't have the time to sit and read through everything, and I hate to comment on anything I'm not informed about. I'm aware, however, of the quality of your contributions, and I never doubted your good faith in resolving disputes.
I did look at the controversy about the NCLR article. It was the same old (racist) stuff. But the vandal was right in that Representative Norwood's criticism should be represented, since he was the probably the most high-profile, if off-base, critic the org has (had?). So I added that stuff in. Now the criticism section is huge. Maybe we should expand it/balance it out by adding in a "Positions" section?
Finally, I had a favor to ask. I know you're involved in the Saints project, and you transwiki-ed the photo I took of the statue of Juan Diego to the commons. It looks like some other people tried to upload images with the same name, and there have been deletions. Now, even though it shows up on my gallery, I can't get it to show up on the article, or just by typing it into the search window. Can you figure out what's going on?
Thanks, B. Peace.--Rockero 05:30, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Question
Given the site of the Lindenhurst estate, where the Pennsylvania College of Optometry is now located, the station would have to be along what is now the SEPTA Main Line between Jenkintown-Wyncote and Elkins Park stations. In my riding experience (purely OR, please note), there is no old private station along this stretch of track. Except, of course, the Ogontz freight station at Old York Road.-- danntm T C 02:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Thought about it, but I don't have long-lat coordinates for the stations and I don't have a GPS device.-- danntm T C 19:08, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] St James Cross
I am not trying to make a point, I am just trying to improve Wikipedia by removing irrelevant depiction of a cross where needed and replacing a false depiction of the cross where the cross should be. Arnoutf 17:26, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: A bit premature
I recognize that you want it deleted so that it can be moved. However, that is not the purpose of WP:RFD. That is the purpose of WP:RM. You need to list move requests at WP:RM. While it may seem that WP:RFD can be used to have the redirect deleted and then allow anyone to move the page, that is not how the process works. WP:RFD is used for deletion only. WP:RM is used for swapping the redirect and the target. Deletion and moving have different criteria so the two processes are separated. I see that you have listed it at WP:RM. An admin will eventually deal with it. Since it is probably going to be uncontroversial, it will likely get dealt with faster at WP:RM than at WP:RFD where it would remain for a week before closure. If you have further questions, let me know. -- JLaTondre 22:40, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
