Exton Station is a commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at Walkertown Road, Exton, Pennsylvania 19341 [1]. It is served by most Amtrak Keystone Corridor and R5 Thorndale trains.
There is no ticket office at this station. There are 369 parking spaces at the station. Parking was last expanded on March 21, 1997 in a $300,000 project that added 116 spaces.
This station is wheelchair-accessible with short lengths of high-level platforms on both sides of the tracks. The platforms have bridge plates which allow a wheelchair to cross the gap between the platform and the train when it is stopped at the platform.
This station is in fare zone 5, and is 27.7 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2003, the average total SEPTA R5 weekday boardings at this station was 539. In Federal Fiscal Year 2005, there were 41,339 Amtrak boardings plus alightings at this station [2]. Additionally, SEPTA bus route 92 and Krapf Transit Route A bus also serve the station.
