The Astros are a gridiron football club established in 1995, previously competing in the NSW Gridiron Football League until joining ACT Gridiron in 2001.
While participating in the NSWGFL, the Astros came away with one championship in 1996. The Astros have won the Capital Bowl a total of four times: 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. They also run a Junior team which began in 2003 as the Erindale Titans, but is now known as the Junior Astros.
