[edit] Can you fix AWB ?
It's broken (seems like it for me), and I will not keep on cleaning up after it forever. AWB is incorrectly changing Skagerak to Skagerrak some places I watch: Framnæs shipyard and Skagerak International School. Its correct when it's Skagerak. Nordby73 22:37, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Check edit history here. Verify how the name is written here. Nordby73 22:51, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing the problem. Nordby73 23:14, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AWB: Rock music
- You might want to change your AWB fixing links thing, to replace Rock with Rock music, instead of Rock (music), since the latter is a redirect. - kollision 03:17, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:The revenge.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:The revenge.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Samples for List of backmasked messages
Tim,
I've been thinking more about the possibility of uploading reversed samples to List of backmasked messages, and I think it would fall within policy. I asked on IRC and got favorable responses. I gave my reasons at Wikipedia_talk:No_original_research#Reversed_audio_clips and Wikipedia_talk:Music_samples#Backwards_samples, and so far no one has responded. If I don't get any objections I will start creating and uploading the clips.
If you'd like to help, contact me and we can split up the samples. Λυδαcιτγ 23:28, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Great. How about you start from the top of the list and I'll start from the bottom? Λυδαcιτγ 02:16, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Also, it would be good to standardize the samples somewhat. I put in two seconds of silence for Image:Weird Al Yankovic - Nature Trail To Hell backmasking.ogg - how does that sound? Λυδαcιτγ 22:13, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

- I don't have a lot of these songs either. "Limewiring" would be technically illegal, but I don't see a problem with it if you only use the song for this purpose and then delete it. Λυδαcιτγ 03:10, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Question about Lithuanian
Hey there, now first of all - I'm no linguistic expert, but the difference between para and parą is that para is the "nominative" and parą is the accusative. For example, if you were saying that you haven't slept for 24 hours, you'd say that - "Aš nemiegojau visą parą." or "Aš vairavau visą parą," meaning, "I drove for 24 hours." Whereas, with the nominative it would probably be like, "Viena para." which means "one 'day & night'/'24 hour period'." I can't really think of an example where you would use the nominative in general speech, right now, but I hope you get the idea. Oh, and also, every word has several "cases" (if that's what they're called) like "para" is the nominative, then "paros" is the genitive, "parai" is the dative and so on. The word itself is quite common, in my opinion. Really, all the info you need is on the Lithuanian grammar page, but if you have any other queries, just ask. Hope this helped!
