Bruno Teixeira

Bruno Teixeira (born October 8, 1982) is a Portuguese footballer, most recently with Forest Green Rovers F.C. in England . He was a fans favourite at The Lawn Ground, having been recommended to Forest Green boss Gary Owers by former Yeovil Town F.C. manager Gary Johnson.
He wears the number 11 jersey and can often be seen with his dazzling ball skills and tricks on the football pitch. He scored a remarkable goal in the 2005/2006 season when he scored the winning goal with a 40 yard shot against Morecambe F.C.
He joined from Portuguese side Leca F.C. and was virtually unknown over in England and barely spoke English in his first few months in Gloucestershire. He is 5 foot 11 inches tall and joined in August 2005 after impressing during a trial period at the club.
