"Force Of Nature" is a song from British rock band Oasis' fifth album Heathen Chemistry, written by Noel Gallagher. Gallagher also performs lead guitar and lead vocals and the track, taking over the latter role from his brother, Liam Gallagher.
"Force Of Nature" was believed to be written about Noel Gallagher's ex-wife, Meg Mathews.[1] Gallagher denied the speculations, stating that the song was inspired by the film Love, Honour and Obeywith Jude Law and Jonny Lee Miller, a year before he got divorced.[1]
The drum pattern is inspired by Iggy Pop's song "Nightclubbing".
Paul Stacey played piano on this song.
The song "Force Of Nature" was included on the ending credits of Love, Honour and Obey.
