Foul Madammas

Foul Madammas is a Lebanese dish consisting of fava beans, usually prepared with garlic, salt, and lemon and eaten with pita bread.
Foul Madammas is popular throughout the Middle East and is produced mostly in Sudan and Egypt.
Extremely nice with raw, finely chopped onions and garlic (soaked in olive oil)
High protein content - very nourishing. Therefore popular with poor people as very cheap and healthy.
