Gabriel Sawma

Gabriel Sawma is a lawyer, specialising in International Law, with emphasis on European Union law, law in the Middle East and Islamic Shari'a law. He is considered a distinguided authority on Islam.
Sawma is also a professor of Aramaic Studies and wrote A Study in the Aramaic Language of Jesus. He is a lecturer on women's rights in the Qur'an, the Aramaic influence in the Qur'an and in Biblical Hebrew.
