[edit] History
The team was established in 1921 under the name CSK Bratislava. It took the name Slovan Bratislava in 1939, and with the exception of years 1949-1952, the name remained, only the modifier was changing. One of the greatest successes of the club was in the season 1978/1979, when they won the federal Czechoslovak Extraliga, during the era of Štastný players.
