The most common way to typing on a computer keyboard is hunt and peck. However this way limits input to those languages whose symbols are put on the keyboard (usually two and one of them English). Thus people who writing in more then one or two languages may have difficulty in typing the specialised symbols for those languages,
Key to byte is one possible way to solve this problem.

Key to byte - an improved version of the chorded keyboard, appreciably facilitating typing to beginning users.
On classical chorded keyboards, in view of their features, initially there are no designations of individual keys. The emphasis is made on touch typing. And in spite of the fact that the touch typing for chorded keyboards is remembered better than a touch typing for the usual keyboard (due to absence of movement of fingers from one key to another it is easier for muscular memory), necessity of input only blindly complicates an initial grade level. The initial stages of learning to type this way are more difficult than on usual keyboards.
In key to byte keyboard layout is constructed on the basis of the alphabet of each of languages that simplifies training a beginner.
In key to byte for simplification of the interface on the screen of the monitor displayed key symbols and the nearest to chosen. It works as follows. The usual keyboard is used. 10 basic keys (in allocation QWERTY it A/S/D/F/G for left hand H/J/K/L /; for right), allow to choose by means of their combinations practically any of symbols.
Place fingers in a (home row). In a window of the program helps what keys are deduced is necessary to press to choose the necessary symbol. If not any of keys of the help is pressed look (for the English language): /./ю/о/ж//г/б/а//
We admit to us it is necessary to choose "m" as this symbol is in the alphabet between "h" and "p" (h <m <p) we on press and we do not release a key corresponding "h" (F). On the screen will appear: /'/?/x/ / /l/j/i/H/
And the button corresponding "h" will change color with red on green, further is similar (l <m <x) we press a key corresponding "l" (J) is received: /+/?/l/d/ /h/n/m/L/
It are necessary to press the button corresponding "m" (L) and to release all keys.
