Wikipedia is cool. We all know it, it's why we're here. But sometimes, you get those zen-like moments that re-affirm (or make you realize it for the first time!) that: Wikipedia is cool! I share my few experiences here and ask you to add yours as well.

[edit] The rules
- All I ask is for you to put a link to this on your userpage, as a form of grassroots advertising, only after you add your cool experience.
- Please don't ask anyone to come here and post their cool moment, to see the reach of people simply by linking to it on their userpages will be another cool experience of mine.
- Please do not link to this page from any other page other than your userpage.
- You can link to it with: Wikipedia is cool. If someone wants to make a userbox, I'd be fine with using that as well.
- Please, obey the rules, violators will be sent to the moon and the links removed.
- Your entry can be as long or as short as you would like, it is your entry after all.
- Do not edit anyone's entry but your own.
- Sign all your entries (even if you do two at once!).
- Add sub-sections randomly, but not too often, to keep the editing size down.
- Add your entry to the bottom.
(As a side note, the second edit to this page was by an IP who blanked my Wikipedia is cool parts below. Show just how cool WP is.)
Thank you.

My first experience was when I discovered Dan Rather#"Kenneth.2C_what_is_the_frequency?". I had always liked the song What's the Frequency, Kenneth?, but when I discovered this tid-bit, I was blow away. Some other cool editor had put this information that explained and brought a much deeper meaning to the song. The power of information had hit me. --MECU≈talk 20:05, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
My second experience was hours ago. I was going to go out for lunch, and wanted to know what the daily special sub was from Subway (restaurant). I pulled up Google, punched in "Subway daily special" and got over a million results. After clicking on the first few, which didn't have the real information (and one only talked about the club cards and stamps, which were years old!), the 6th entry was Subway menu. I scrolled down and BAM: "Monday - 6" (15 cm) Savoury Turkey Breast & Ham". Do I feel like a Savoury Turkey Breast & Ham sub? Wikipedia was cool once again. --MECU≈talk 20:05, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
