Michael McIntyre

Michael McIntyre is a Conservative councillor for North Tyneside Council in the United Kingdom. He represents the Whitley Bay ward with Alison Austin and Margaret Marshall.
He stood as the Conservative Party candidate for Tynemouth in the 2005 General Election but lost to the Labour Party candidate, Alan Campbell, by over 4,000 votes. However, he succeeded in reducing Campbell's 2001 majority.
He has failed to be selected to stand for Tynemouth in the latest selection round where an outsider from Richmond who was not shortlisted was chosen over him.
He has also stood in York where he lost.
