The 57th Miss World pageant will be taking place in October of 2007 in Moscow, Russia. All contestants are unconfirmed until they arrive at the venue.

- Miss British Virgin Islands Pageant committee has been confirmed the paticipation of the islands in Miss World 2007.
- Victor Yapobi, president of COMICI confirmed Cote d'Ivoire's participation in Miss World 2007.
- Grenada will mark it's return to Miss World after 10 years as Jennifer Hosten (former Miss World from Grenada) is organizing the first Miss Grenada World contest that is scheduled to be held on 31st of March. For more information visit- Miss Grenada official website
- Costa Rica will not take part in Miss World 2007. The most obvious reason is the franchise holder's "unofficial" boycott to Miss World fast-track events.
- Miss Deutschland Organization, current Miss World franchise holder for Germany, will be electing Miss Deutschland Welt 2007 this June.
- Uganda is back in Miss World after one year break. The search for Miss Uganda 2007 will commence on February 23rd, 2007 with the inaugration ceremony to be held at Kampala Serena Hotel. Miss Uganda 2007 will be crowned on July 20th & once again MKM Promotions headed by Solaire Zalwango and Jessica Kyeyune (Miss Uganda 1990) is the organizer of the event. Miss Uganda 2007 will compete in Miss World 2007 and unlike previous Miss Uganda editions, for the first time the first runner-up will represent Uganda at Miss Earth 2007. - Gloria Limpias, president of Promociones Gloria (organizer of Miss Bolivia) has taken over the franchise of Miss World, Miss Earth & Miss International for Paraguay. 2007 will mark the return of Paraguay to Miss World after a break of 2 years.
- Trinidad & Tobago will not be sending a delegate this year, as they have not secured sponsorship or support according to Peter Elias the National Director.
- Lithuania and Paraguay will return to Miss World after two years.
