[edit] License tagging for Image:921litefm.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:921litefm.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:09, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:92_1140308010.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. [edit] Hi
Hi, I noticed that you are seeking to be adopted. At this point, I don't think that I would have the ability to give you the personal attention that you deserve if I were to adopt you, seeing as I have already adopted 2 other users. However, until someone else adopts you, I am available if you need advice. Just feel free to leave a message on my talk page, and I will respond when I get a chance. Cheers, -- THLCCD 23:10, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm currently availible for at least an hour and a half. What questions do you have? -- THLCCD 00:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
It also sounds like you may have misunderstood what I was saying. Seeing as I could only fill a mentor position, and not provide you with the personal touch that you deserve, I was going to leave you open for adoption. That way, someone who could give you the personal touch could adopt you. I was offering to give you advice and answer your questions until someone else adopted you. Cheers, -- THLCCD 00:18, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adopt
Hello, I am DarknessLord, and experienced editor, and I am putting you up as my adoptee so you can be adopted, ok? If you don't want me to be your adopter, please inform me here and I'll get to changing the templates around.
Signed, D•a•r•k•n•e•s•s•L•o•r•d•i•a•n•••CCD••• 00:28, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
If you would like any help at all, please notify me. D•a•r•k•n•e•s•s•L•o•r•d•i•a•n•••CCD••• 00:32, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- It appears that you have been adopted. Congratulations, this user is much more experienced then I am. You are in good hands. Cheers, -- THLCCD 00:33, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Arlington High School (LaGrange, New York)
I have responded to your accusations on my talk page and the article's talk page. Let's try to work out a civil solution. Nationalparks 00:39, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- It seemed that consensus was to leave out the section about the food courts, so I have removed it again. Nationalparks 01:03, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Some Suggestions
Let me suggest a few things to help you improve on Wikipedia:
- Try to run your text through a spell-check and grammar-check before you post it.
- People do not get banned (nor should they be reported to admins) after 1, or even 2, warnings, except in extreme situations.
- Removing sections of articles is not always vandalism. See being bold and parts of vandalism.
- You can find pre-made warning templates at: WP:TT, so you don't have to make up your own.
- Everything you add to an article should be verifiable and should have references (especially if the information is not obvious).
- Do not tag images you find on the Internet as {{cc-by-sa-2.5}}, unless you actually made them yourself, or know that that is the right tag.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Nationalparks 01:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reasons for Quitting
- This is the "Wikipedia" reason I'm quitting. These fair use laws (even though I don't live in Florida), these complaints, these WP:____ which I haven't even heard about, these facts they've reverted even though they know it's true but it's unsourced even though there isn't any source of it yet on the internet). My immediate "BOO"s on my self-RfA really helped my stress now.
-
- Now the real world. You see, the person behind Simply MP had been
invading my privacymaking fun of my userpage, and that was a little takedown. My mother has anger issues, my sister is a demon, my school has cruel teachers and even crueler bullies, etc. etc. etc.

- Good friends, I say goodbye. I might still come back to chat, or edit my fav pages, but the number-two (can't forget Jimbo ;) ) user is not gonna do anything spectacular anymore.

-
- NightRider63, I fondly remember you as my second adoptee. But now that I'm quitting, good friend, I am appointing you to User:The Hybrid, if you accept. Right now, he is a much more capable user than I.
Goodbye, D•a•r•k•n•e•s•s•L•o•r•d•i•a•n•••CCD•••
[edit] Hi, NightRider63
It appears that you are currently an orphan, due to the exit of The Hybrid. I'm learning here myself, but I've been here about a month and half. I at least know where I can help you get answers to questions you might have until you're adopted again. If I can help, leave a message on my talk page. [edit] The Hybrid is here
Hello, remember me? I am currently trying to keep DarknessLord from leaving. If he cannot be stopped, I would be honored to adopt you. I am taking a Wikibreak, but chances are I will be back by this Wednesday. I will be talking to DarknessLord over the course of my break, but I won't be doing anything else. If DarknessLord has truly left entirely by the time I return, adopting you will be my first action after I get back. I would say cheers, but after seeing that DarknessLord may be leaving I'm not in a cheerful mood, so regards. -- THL 20:28, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
I have adopted you. If you ever need any advice, I'm here. My attempt at a Wikibreak failed miserably. Honestly, I'm net even in his league, but I'll do my best to help you in his place. My other adoptees don't need much help anymore, so I'll be able to give you the personal touch I was worried about before. If you need anything, just let me know. Happy editing, -- THL 06:55, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- No need, THL, I've already been driven back here. :) D•a•r•k•n•e•s•s•L•o•r•d•i•a•n•••CCD••• 00:57, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Brazil Pages
All right, Mgarnes2! I'll stay watching all the articles I've created recently to help improve them. Contact me again if you see any reason to elect for an AFD! But there is no need to add unreferenced tags to the articles, since they are referenced by the official source of brazilian statistics (IBGE). There are more than 3000 pages to be created (brazilian municipalities / counties), so I still have a long journey to go. I'll revert your changes to Urupá and Vale do Paraíso. Feel free to contact me in my talk page or email. Gcoliveira 20:57, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
I can't understand the difference between Reference and Source. (Sorry!!) Isn't it the same? IBGE is the official source of brazilian statistical data. Is it a Source or a Reference? Tks in advance! Gcoliveira 23:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Don't leave
Hey, looking at the posts above, I went through the same problem not too long ago. Hey, but once you get past some of those not-so-friendly admins, wannabes, and vandals, you go to the normal crowd, a very calm and kind group of people.
You can leave. I'm just saying that you're overexaggerating, a mistake I had made. -- ~D-Lord (Sign!) (TCE) 22:46, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- We aren't trying to get you to leave, trust me. We just want to make sure that all of the articles are referenced, with valid sources (not created by you, and then lied about). You have made many positive contributions to the Wiki, and I hope you stay. Nationalparks 00:44, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

-
- I wouldn't put it that way: "against you". I am not against Mgarnes2, I am pro a referenced, verifiable Wikipedia. Nationalparks 01:49, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I was trying to do that on the AHS page, so why couldnt we of just edited the number of staff?Mgarnes2 02:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Because I don't know how many staff there actually are, and it appears that neither do you. We can't just guess 500. If this information was on the Arlington High School website, for example, that would be the needed reference. But you can't post something on your website and have that be the reference. Nationalparks 02:56, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I found the staff and enrollment information on the NY Education Department's website and updated them with the reference. It's the 2004-2005 numbers, but that looks like it's the best we can do for now. Metros232 03:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, fair enough, i removed the endowment since Public schools don't get an endowment--Mgarnes2 03:30, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Arlingtonhighny.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Arlingtonhighny.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:993Lite.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:993Lite.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 23:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
