Penisa'r Waun

Penisarwaen (sometimes spelt Penisarwaun), is a small village and is roughly equidistant between Bangor and Caernarfon on the A4547 in Gwynedd [1].
Penisarwaen is accessed from Caernarfon by taking the A4086 which connects with the A4547. From Bangor take the A487 going west which connects with the A4547. Llanberis is the nearest town being just three miles away on the A4086. The Llanberis approach will have taken the traveller through some of the finest scenery in North Wales.
Mostly a combination of dry rocky farmland and wet marshland. Farms are quite small in the area and ar mostly around the central village. Also in the local forest lies the well of Brenin Arthur which not every one knows about!
