PSM3 (short for PlayStation 3 Magazine) is a video game magazine specialising in all Sony video game consoles and handheld gaming platforms. PSM3 is published by Future Publishing, a UK-based publishing company.
The magazine launched in August 2000 under the name PSM2 and quickly became one of the most popular unofficial PlayStation magazines on the market.
It has since changed its name to PSM3, focusing more on Sony's PlayStation 3, but still covering PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2.

[edit] Magazine team
As of November 2006, the PSM3 team consists of editor Daniel Dawkins, art editor Milford Coppock, staff writer Andy Kelly, reviews editor Nathan Irvine, deputy art editor Richard Broughton and production editor David Cook.
[edit] DVD
PSM3's cover disc is popular with readers because of its review commentaries. Each month the writers record a commentary - much like a director's commentary or a podcast - over footage of recently-released games.
[edit] Blog
In 2006, through their blog, the PSM3 team released YouTube videos of PlayStation 3 being used in a non-controlled environment. The videos garnered a vast amount of hits and were some of the most-viewed on the entirety of the YouTube website. Sony quickly removed the footage but it had since been re-hosted by hundreds of other users. The blog was also noteworthy during PS3's Japanese launch - one of the writers, Joel Snape, was in the queue at the Asobits store in Akihabara and blogged live using his laptop, explaining what it's like to wait in a huge line for almost two days to get hold of one of the world's first PS3s.
