Rock Rivals is a new British television drama series for ITV1 to be shown in 2007. It produced by Shed Productions, the company behind Footballers' Wives, Bad Girls and most recently Waterloo Road. As Bad Girls portrayed life in a women's prison, Footballers Wives on the sorded world of sex-and-soccer and Waterloo Road followed the lives of teachers and pupils of a failing comprehensive school, Rock Rivals will focus on the stories of two celebrity judges on an X Factor style show as their marriage falls apart. Simon Cowell [1] has joined forces with Shed Productions to produce the new show.
Rock Rivals is yet to be commissioned.
The series is set to be filmed in Summer 2007 and delivered to ITV in the autumn.
