Shed Productions

Shed Productions is an independent British production company. It was established in 1998 by Maureen Chadwick, Ann McManus, Eileen Gallagher and Brian Park, all of which had previously worked together at Granada Studios. There first major production, hit ITV1 prison drama, Bad Girls came about in the summer of 1998 and after proving to be a huge success with fans, Shed commissioned there second drama in 2000, Footballers' Wives. In 2006, both Bad Girls, which ran for eight series and Footballers' Wives,running for five series, came to an end which disappointed many fans. But Shed Productions is still continuing to bring great drama to its fans in the form of its latest drama to hit the screen, Waterloo Road, returning for a second series on 18 January 2007.

- Footballers' Wives - ITV1 raunchy sex-and-soccer drama based on a fictional football team, Earls Park.
- Footballers' Wives: Extra Time - ITV2 spin-off to the successful Footballers' Wives.
- Waterloo Road - BBC One drama series focusing on a failing comprehensive school.
- Bombshell - Army drama series, first shown in New Zealand. As yet it has not aired in the UK.
However, the majority of the shows produced by Shed Productions are thought to be low quality, especially "Bad Girls" and "Footballer's Wives." In March 2007, ITV chairman Michael Grade launched an attack on the 2 shows, saying that they should have been "killed before they began."
