Rutanya Alda

Rutanya Alda (born Rutanya Skrastiņa, on October 13, 1942 in Riga, Latvia) is a Latvian-American actress.
She may be best known for her roles in Mommie Dearest, The Deer Hunter, and Amityville II: The Possession. She also appeared on numerous TV programs and on the TV series Beauty and the Beast, which starred Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton.

She is no relation to the Italian-American acting Aldas (Robert & Alan Alda).
She was married to actor Richard Bright from 1977 until his death in 2006; they had 1 child.
