Much of the information in these articles comes from the CIA World Factbook 2000 and the 2003 U.S. Department of State website.
I guess there should be seperate articles on São Tomé Island and Príncipe Island as well. And perhaps an reference to the Island of Annobón, Equatorial Guinea since they all belong to the same archipelago.
Can anyone provide a dettailed topografic map of the main island. I know it excists
How do you pronounce the name? Say'oh Toh'may? Sah'eh teh'may?
- São is pronounced like "sou" in the word "sound", and Tomé is toh-MAY, rather like Marisa Tomei's last name. — Ливай | ☺ 02:15, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed WikiProject
In my ongoing efforts to try to include every country on the planet included in the scope of a WikiProject, I have proposed a new project on Middle Africa at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Middle Africa whose scope would include Sao Tome and Principe. Any interested parties are more than welcome to add their names there, so we can see if there is enough interest to start such a project. Thank you for your attention.
